what knitting has taught me
1. there is no shame in abandoning something and starting completely from scratch
2. no one notices your flaws as much as you do
3. if you loosen up, things happen easier and faster
4. making mistakes teaches you how to deal with them
5. silence can be your friend
6. anything worth doing involves an investment of time, energy and emotion
