i'm a sleeve away from being done on the 2nd mexicali baby sweater. i've slacked a bit on knitting this week but am planning to make up for it on the weekend (like i always do.) once i get this one of the needles, i'm going to evaluate which sweater is next. (i've forgotten some of the baby due dates!)

i've decided to make the chic-kami my lunch hour project. i finished my gauge swatch last night and will cast on for it this weekend. since its stockinette in the round its perfectly mindless / simple and hence perfectly portable. i've some nice white elann sonata cotton for it. if this one works well, i'll make another with stripes or a heart lace insert.
